Wildlife Parks Unlimited
A full digital ecosystem for a conservation movement rallying 1,000+ future conservationists.
Overview
Wildlife Parks Unlimited is a conservation nonprofit building the teams and resources needed to restore ecosystems through direct action. 1976 Studios partnered with WPU to design and build a compelling digital home for the organization — one that could translate the urgency of habitat loss into a membership movement. The platform spans multiple micro-sites, a podcast presence, and a donation infrastructure tied directly to measurable ecological outcomes.
The Challenge
Conservation organizations often struggle to communicate complex ecological problems in ways that inspire action rather than despair. WPU needed a digital presence that could attract volunteer conservationists, communicate their pipeline of restoration programs, and build sustainable membership revenue — all before major field programs had officially launched.
The Solution
1976 Studios designed a cinematic, story-first digital ecosystem rooted in the organization's 'Adopt a Duck' community hook. We built the main WPU site, three program micro-sites, and an integrated podcast presence for 'The Wild Rebuild with Chris and Jessica.' Each touchpoint was designed to convert curiosity into commitment, using clear program roadmaps, impact statistics, and a membership funnel.
The Outcome
Wildlife Parks Unlimited launched with 50+ program concepts in development, a 10,000+ acre restoration target pipeline, and a community of future conservationists rallying around the mission. The Adopt a Duck program became the primary community entry point, with the podcast driving ongoing engagement across YouTube.
